Jul 12th Announcements

There are two important things to note about worship for the next few weeks:

1) Per state & county health official guidelines, wearing masks is now mandatory for any public gathering.  We will have masks available for those who do not have them.

2) The most recent guidelines limit public gatherings to no more than 45 people.  We have been averaging between 50-65 people at our outdoor services.  As hard as this is to say, we are discouraging people from attending the outdoor worship service.  We know that gathering for worship is important for people’s mental & spiritual health, and so we want to continue to offer this worship option for the time being.  However, if you’d like to stay home and worship online or don’t mind sitting out for a week or two, we would encourage that so that we can keep our in-person gathering under the limits.  As people arrive and if we start getting more than 45 people, the overflow will be directed to the far side of the field.

OTHER ANNOUNCEMENTS:

  • I will be there this Sunday, but will be on vacation all of next week.  Pastor Larry Cross will be covering for me from July 13 through July 19, and also preaching for me on July 26th.
  • The “Dear Church” books came in for our Wednesday night Zoom Bible study starting July 22.  These books are available for pick-up on a first come, first serve basis at worship and in the box by the front door of church.  Suggested donation is $10, but if will participate in the study and can’t afford that, take a book anyway.
