Rev. Chad Langdon began serving Christ Lutheran Church as pastor in October 2011. He was born and raised in St. Joseph, MO, and earned a Management & Marketing degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 2000. He then attended Lutheran Theological Southern Seminary in Columbia, SC, earning his Master’s of Divinity degree in 2004 and becoming a pastor. He served at Hope Lutheran in St. Charles, MO for 7+ years before being called to Christ Lutheran. He served on the board of Camp Tomah Shinga for many years, and currently serves as the Secretary of the Central States Synod of the ELCA.
Pastor Chad is married to Lynde and they have two beautiful daughters they adopted from Haiti. In his free time, Pastor Chad enjoys astronomy, working outside, creating stained glass, brewing beer, and walking the dog.
