Neighborhood Campfire

Come meet your neighbors! We have about 20 homes now occupied to our south, most with multiple persons in the household. We also have the 100 or so people who are in the complex at 45th and Hillside. Meet at the campfire circle behind Christ Lutheran. The church is providing hot dogs, fruit, chips, drinks, s’mores, and games. We will see you there!

Refugee Ministry Meeting

Christ Lutheran Church as a co-sponsor with Saint Francis Migration Ministries (SFMM) will be welcoming a family of ten people from the Congo in August. Youth Summer Movie Night

The Youth Group will still be meeting on Wednesday nights during the summer from 6-8pm. Each Wednesday, we will be watching a different movie and somehow connecting it to our faith. Sunday School Meeting

On Tuesday, August 7 at 7pm, we will be having a Sunday school planning meeting. We would love for anyone interested in being a teacher or helping in other ways to come to this meeting. Park City Parade

Parade will be in Park City on July 4th at 9:00 AM start. Arrive by 8:40 to participate. Free treats and playground time after the parade will be available. Contact Donn Bischoff for details and to participate. Our theme this year is Feeding The 5000, so we will be distributing “bread and fish”. Fun for adults and youngsters. Wear your red CLC shirts if you can.

Vacation Bible School

This year’s theme is called Shipwrecked: Rescued by Jesus. We will have classes and groups for Nursery all the way up to Adults, and we will host VBS in the evenings. This year’s VBS Coordinator is Mary Garrelts.
