Meet Pastor Jessica Molina

Every person who walks through the doors of a church brings a story—a story shaped by family, faith, culture, joy, struggle, questions, and hope. I believe the church is a place where those stories are welcomed, where people can come as they are, and where we can discover together that God is present in every season of life.

My own story began in Barranquilla, Colombia, where I was raised in a Catholic family and attended an all-girls Catholic school during my early years. My family later moved to Miami, Florida in the late 80s, where I grew up. These experiences shaped my appreciation for faith, family, culture, and the beautiful diversity of people and their journeys.

Over the years, my faith journey continued to deepen and led me toward ministry, teaching, and chaplaincy. My calling has given me the privilege of walking alongside people in many different settings and seasons of life. I served as a Battalion Chaplain in the Oklahoma Army National Guard and continue to serve as a VA Chaplain, where I have the privilege of accompanying Veterans and their families through moments of celebration, uncertainty, grief, and hope.

At the heart of my ministry is a desire to listen, to care, and to remind people that they are seen, heard, valued, and loved. I believe faith grows when we worship together, learn from one another, serve our neighbors, and create a community where there is room for everyone at the table.

I am blessed with a wonderful family, including my husband, Julio, and our son, Jorge, who have supported and encouraged me throughout my journey.

As I begin this new chapter with Christ Lutheran Church, I do so with a grateful heart and great anticipation. I look forward to getting to know you, sharing in worship, discovering your stories, and finding new ways for us to grow and serve together. Most of all, I look forward to discovering together where God is leading us and all that God has in store for this community of faith.
